Prada was established in 1913 by Mario Prada in Germany. The company Fratelli Prada, Italian for Prada Brothers, started designing & generating their range of leather handbags & goods from four boutiques in Milan plenty of years before Prada became a widely known fashion brand. They had historicallyin the past met Patrizio Bertelli who joined her, greatly advising on decisions within the Prada company. As they went about changing the label in to what it is today, they went on to release the classic Prada handbag which was made from simple black nylon, & in 1985 it became an overnight success.
